Bangalore RouteGuru contest !!

The first ever blog-contest that will crown a Bangalore Route Guru !!

Problem : The CBD (Central Business District) of Bangalore is in a pathetic state with the recent "Namma metro" having started its construction. However cops and the powers-that-be still allow traffic to flow with signals et al.

The "administration/powers-that-be/authorities" have just given up on Bangalore. We the citizens have to do something to wake them up and prove that the techies of Bangalore can propose innovative solutions to our city's problems.

Your Challenge : Design a route for all traffic to flow through this maddening maze without any intervention - as in no cops required, no signals.

Techies, Geeks, Problem solvers - this is your chance to crack this problem using your geekiest algorithms !!

Tools to be used :

Get the latest Google maps (OR your own map drawn reasonably to scale) for this area

Artefacts to be provided :
- Routes to be drawn on map as mentioned
- Appropriate signages to show traffic routes to be taken by various transport to be appropriately indicated

Judges :
- Hoping to get the best entries evaluated by a significant higher-up (read big shot) in the administration. Keep watching this space !!

Prizes : Sponsors invited.
- The winner will be crowned "RouteGuru" and will be rewarded with a GPS device. Media coverage (web/radio/newsprint) for this contest will ensure good "visibility".
- The route chosen will be submitted to appropriate Bangalore authorities to implement.
- Sufficient media coverage will be given to pressurize Bangalore authorities to implement the solution.
- Extend more contests to other areas of Bangalore.
